Now and then you meet someone who has a unique level of determination to follow the Lord. Not only do they follow Him faithfully, they also inspire others to take the path they blaze.And yet … well, through it all, the ones who are for real also continually remind all of us that there’s no such thing as “having arrived”, at least not in this life. Eternal life is well-demonstrated in that those who have received it from Jesus Christ understand that the spiritual state and perception of this sojourn on earth is but a shadow of the glorious things to come!
Steve is one of those oh-so-rare people. He was with Living Water some years back, and showed tremendous commitment to the – not just “our” – ministry. It’s true that he was one of our basses and did well as a student director, but there’s more. As of this writing, he’s been active in music ministry as a vocalist and instrumentalist, and has been used by God to set the standard for others to follow.
There is more to come, of course – and more of Steve’s story to be told, and more glory to be given to God. May you, fellow believer, commit yourself to be used by our Lord in the same way!
