Play

Choraegus has more than “just” handbell and choral music. We also have some (other) instrumental music for you to play. Occasionally, I get the idea that a handbell piece will work nicely as a piano reduction, or that something I’ve written will translate well to another instrument. There also have been occasions when someone has asked me to do exactly that, too.

However these pieces get to where they are today, it’s always fun to know that music can migrate from one instrument to another. So here are some pieces that you might like to try!

Happy (Piano solo)

We received a request to make a solo piano version of Happy, the 1920s-styled Low Ding Zone original handbell piece, and so now we have a new score for you to enjoy! Oh… please note that it’s not to be confused with the Pharrell Williams song from a few years back… Piano score (PDF): Also …

Tigress Rag (Solo Piano)

We present to you the solo piano adaptation of “Tigress Rag”, the Second Place Winner of the 2011 Bells of the Sound “All That Jazz” composition contest. Larry wrote it in the style of Scott Joplin, and dedicated to his wife Carla. Piano score (PDF): Also available for handbells, 5-7 octaves

    Hi Carol,

Here’s the Step by Step Choraegus Buying Guide that Carla’s written for our handbell choir arrangement of His Eye is on the Sparrow.

We’ve been seeing quite a few people get this score from us – pray tell, is it being played by one of the teams where you are?

    Happy Ringing!
    Larry
