Spring Ring 2005 - DetailsNine solo choirs, small ensembles or soloists may perform during the concert. Please keep the length reasonable, approximately 3 to 4 minutes tops. Solo ensemble numbers will be placed between the massed numbers performed at the beginning and end of the concert. Ringers may stand (or sit) in the audience and watch the solo performances.
The one inclusive price covers all classes, morning and afternoon. Ringers may opt to come only in the afternoon, if they wish. Ringers will be on their own for a quick lunch (brought or bought nearby). There are many places to eat near the church. Eating your lunch on the church campus is quite acceptable.
Registration and set-up will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. Groups may begin rehearsing solo numbers as early as they arrive. During the breaks there will be an opportunity to munch on goodies (we hope you can help with some good snacks--drinks provided), shop at the store, and enjoy each other's company. There will also be time for groups to rehearse their solo number.
Early registration helps us order enough reading packets, insures a solo spot on final concert, allows us to plan for classroom space and massed ringing lay-outand insures your participation in case we are overbooked. If at all possible, by March 1. Last year over 230 registered.
