Since I was tying songs to people's physical conditions, I figured that attaching this one to Victoria in that fashion wouldn't be a problem. For the better part of a year, Victoria's platelet count plummeted from normal to very low levels. This condition, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura ("ITP" - translated from medicalese to the English "your platelet count is way low and the medical establishment has no clue as to why it's happening") meant that her blood wouldn't clot properly; because of this, a cut or even a bruise could be a very serious problem.
What a contrast to the Lord Jesus Christ! And so here we have an a cappella communion song.
Addendum: God continues to do remarkable things for His people. Victoria was doing a Web search on herself and came across this page, and through a subsequent e-mail transmission told me that she is now healed of her ITP. Praise God for His infinite goodness!
